Private — Browser Extension Privacy Policy

Private is an internal browser extension published by TSA Media Pvt. Ltd for use exclusively on company-issued devices by TSA Media / The Social Ants employees, as part of the company's internal productivity tracking system ("Private"), integrated into the internal TicketsAnt platform.

Who this is for

This extension is not intended for the general public. It is installed only on devices belonging to TSA Media employees, either by the employee themselves or automatically via company-managed browser policy on company-issued Windows machines. It has no function or value outside that context.

What data is collected

While the associated TicketsAnt desktop agent (Electron app) detects the employee is in an active work session, the extension observes:

• The domain of the active browser tab (e.g. notion.so), not the full URL, not query parameters, not page content.
• A short path hint — only the first path segment, truncated to 32 characters (e.g. /workspace from notion.so/workspace/abc123), not the full path.
• Timestamps for when a tab gains or loses focus, used to compute time spent per domain.
• Which browser (Chrome/Edge/Brave) and its version.

The extension does not collect page content, form data, passwords, cookies, browsing history beyond the currently focused tab, or data from incognito/private windows (the extension is not enabled in those by default).

Where data goes

Data is sent via Chrome's Native Messaging API to a small local host process (com.tsa.ticketsant) that ships with the TicketsAnt desktop agent, running only on the same machine. That local process forwards the data to TSA Media's own backend (ticketsant.tsaone.cloud) over an authenticated HTTPS connection. No data is sent to any third party, sold, or used for advertising.

Who can see this data

Collected activity is visible only to FOUNDER-role administrators within the internal TicketsAnt admin panel, for internal workplace productivity review during declared company work sessions. It is not shared externally.

Data retention

Data is retained on TSA Media's own infrastructure for as long as needed for internal review purposes and is deleted when no longer needed, at the company's discretion.

Uninstalling

Removing the extension (via chrome://extensions / brave://extensions / edge://extensions) or removing the TicketsAnt desktop agent stops all data collection immediately. On company-managed devices, the extension may be automatically reinstalled by device policy as part of continued employment on a company-issued machine.
